Mike is an exceptionally personable and friendly person and his shop is run in the same manner. He first serviced our 1996 Rav4 and we were extremely pleased with both the result and the prices. The car was always ready on time, all problems were handled in utmost professional manner and we developed a mutual respect and trust. Carlos is the chief mechanic at A.A. and he pampered and cured my car many times, until it just was not practical at 250,000 miles! He than took care of my husbands 2002 Miata with the same expertise and knowledge. Currently my 2010 Subaru Forrester is safely in his hands for any checkups, oil changes and maintenance. We were so trilled to have found a shop we can trust to do such and outstanding job on maintaining our cars. I wanted to give a shout out to the guys @ Anywhere Automotive. I’m a single mom, 3 kids, 8pm and we were driving home from Tahoe when my car started to overheat. Needless to say, I started to panic. Mike and his team were exceptional! From the time we first spoke on the phone, I could tell what an honest and kind guy Mike was! My car wouldn’t start and so I had it towed down to Anywhere Automotive (same day service when every other shop turned me away). My dad is actually a mechanic and he met me at the shop to discuss with Mike what “the plan” would be. Mike was kind and courteous to my father and they were on the same page. Mike charged me reasonably for diagnosing the issue as well as fixing the problem… in fact; he really cut me a deal! He stuck to the original estimate he gave me even though he did so much more and had to buy one part twice (the first one was defective and the 2nd part cost him more). He got my car back to me the next day all fixed up and running great! His receipt broke down every part and service charge so that I knew exactly what I was paying for. I really appreciated Mike’s work!!! I will recommend him to everyone that I can and will be back for all my future car services!A+++ business ethic and workmanship!!!

Everyone there is friendly. They tell you what’s wrong and give you options. Prices aren’t ridiculously crazy and the guys there really know their stuff. I take my car here anytime it gives me trouble.

Recently my car died while I was driving, and I had to have it towed to the repair shop. When it died on me, I did not know what shop to take it to, and I called several shops to interview them first before calling the tow truck. When I called Anywhere Automotive, the owner, Mike, answered the phone, and he really impressed me with his knowledge and customer service skills. I did not know what was wrong with my car at the time, and none of the other shops that I contacted would work on my car (it is a Suzuki SUV, and there are no dealers close by). Mike and his staff were very courteous and professional, and they really impressed me with their knowledge of cars. They gave me a good price for the work and kept to their estimates. In addition, they were patient about answering my questions, and they were very clear about telling me what needed to be done. The owner (Mike) is one of those rare car geniuses (“a mechanic’s mechanic”), and I felt very comfortable leaving my car with him. As a former auto mechanic myself, I tend to be more discerning than most people, and I ask a lot of questions when I have my car worked on, and Mike and his team exceeded my expectations. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. They are honest, hardworking, and very good at what they do. Your car will be in good hands with this shop.

I have been a Customer of Anywhere Auto for over 20 years. I had been referred to them initially when I had a job transfer to the Bay Area.My Toyota 4-Runner’s engine had died, I was under warranty, yet The Dealership was not honoring the warranty, telling me that I would be responsible to pay excessive repairs & giving me the run around. As a single Woman in a Car Crisis, with very little resources, I felt very intimidated. A Friend suggested I contact Mike Babcock of Anywhere Auto. He not only advised me of how the Dealership was in the wrong but went to bat with them & the Warranty Company. He soon discovered that there had been repeat instances of the same issue with Toyota 4-Runner’s Engines due to a faulty design & that they had been recalled. He not only was able to replace the Engine but had the Warranty Company foot the bill with no out of pocket expense to me. Anywhere Auto is not only reliable & dependable, they are honest & trust worthy. Several years have passed, and though I am no longer in the Bay area, & have yet a different car, I still continue contact them for advice about my car. I think Mike Babcock is the Car Whisper, as I will describe the problem I am having with my car over the phone & he is always RIGHT! He just saved me $950 on my car this week. We needed a good shop close to work Not far from home and found Anywhere Auto on the web. We were surprised at how accurate they diagnose and how quickly they work to get our car in shape and back to us. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lynn is such a doll. She is a joy to talk to and easy to work with. Mike or any of his staff would give us a ride to work or where we need to be dropped off if our car needs more than a few hours work. Sometimes it’s tough to fix an aging car to where you want it to be especially since we put so many miles on it. Mike gives us options on what can be fixed while working with a budget. We’re happy with their work and would recommend them to our family & friends.

I first came to Anywhere last year when I was needing a quick repair that would last. Leaving I felt good enough to program the number into my phone. Today when I needed some brake work done and a leak repaired, I was treated to even more of a good experience. I believe I have found my truck’s home for repair. I found the entire staff from owner, other mechanics all the way to kindhearted assistant extremely friendly, helpful, welcoming as well as full of integrity and pride in their work. I found this place by accident and I don’t regret it. I was looking for an oil change and they didn’t in there they are really nice people and great service , mike I guess the owner do the job in my car plus he did a safety check up for free, it’s hard to find a good doctor for my car and I think I found it , highly recommended ! You got new costumers on us and definitely trying to send you more costumers !!

My father has been coming to Mike for years. He is extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and honest. I recently had a ton of work done on my car and now she runs like a dream. The staff is very friendly and I could sit and listen to Lynne talk all day.
