I have been a Customer of Anywhere Auto for over 20 years. I had been referred to them initially when I had a job transfer to the Bay Area.My Toyota 4-Runner’s engine had died, I was under warranty, yet The Dealership was not honoring the warranty, telling me that I would be responsible to pay excessive repairs & giving me the run around. As a single Woman in a Car Crisis, with very little resources, I felt very intimidated. A Friend suggested I contact Mike Babcock of Anywhere Auto. He not only advised me of how the Dealership was in the wrong but went to bat with them & the Warranty Company. He soon discovered that there had been repeat instances of the same issue with Toyota 4-Runner’s Engines due to a faulty design & that they had been recalled. He not only was able to replace the Engine but had the Warranty Company foot the bill with no out of pocket expense to me. Anywhere Auto is not only reliable & dependable, they are honest & trust worthy. Several years have passed, and though I am no longer in the Bay area, & have yet a different car, I still continue contact them for advice about my car. I think Mike Babcock is the Car Whisper, as I will describe the problem I am having with my car over the phone & he is always RIGHT! He just saved me $950 on my car this week. The service is always great and timely. They don’t try to suggestive sell you unnecessary work. The people who run the shop are warm and inviting. My family has been coming here for years. Last but not least it’s affordable. Even for those strapped for cash.

I drive 100 miles, round trip, to have them service my car and my husband’s car because they are are always courteous, honest, affordable, have reliablydiagnose my problem, and fixed it quickly. We needed a good shop close to work Not far from home and found Anywhere Auto on the web. We were surprised at how accurate they diagnose and how quickly they work to get our car in shape and back to us. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lynn is such a doll. She is a joy to talk to and easy to work with. Mike or any of his staff would give us a ride to work or where we need to be dropped off if our car needs more than a few hours work. Sometimes it’s tough to fix an aging car to where you want it to be especially since we put so many miles on it. Mike gives us options on what can be fixed while working with a budget. We’re happy with their work and would recommend them to our family & friends.

Mike is about as honest as they come. Its about time you put this up..lol…now you need to do your facebook too!! Mike is honest, up front, friendly, doesn’t try to take advantage of your lack of car knowledge and an overall great mechanic. He’s been my mechanic for years and I trust him completely. Coming from a woman, that kind of trust is hard to find! I also like the fact that he stands behind his work, is open on Saturdays and will drop you off at work and pick you back up if he has your car. Great business!

Mike and his team were exceptional! From the time we first spoke on the phone, I could tell what an honest and kind guy Mike was! My car wouldn’t start and so I had it towed down to Anywhere Automotive (same day service when every other shop turned me away). My dad is actually a mechanic and he met me at the shop to discuss with Mike what “the plan” would be. Mike was kind and courteous to my father and they were on the same page. Mike charged me reasonably for diagnosing the issue as well as fixing the problem… in fact; he really cut me a deal! He stuck to the original estimate he gave me even though he did so much more and had to buy one part twice (the first one was defective and the 2nd part cost him more). He got my car back to me the next day all fixed up and running great! His receipt broke down every part and service charge so that I knew exactly what I was paying for. I really appreciated Mike’s work!!! I will recommend him to everyone that I can and will be back for all my future car services!A+++ business ethic and workmanship!!!

This is a letter of recommendation for your Anywhere Automotive. We have been recommended to A.A. by a friend more than 10 years ago and it was “love at first sight”! Mike is an exceptionally personable and friendly person and his shop is run in the same manner. He first serviced our 1996 Rav4 and we were extremely pleased with both the result and the prices. The car was always ready on time, all problems were handled in utmost professional manner and we developed a mutual respect and trust. Carlos is the chief mechanic at A.A. and he pampered and cured my car many times, until it just was not practical at 250,000 miles! He than took care of my husbands 2002 Miata with the same expertise and knowledge. Currently my 2010 Subaru Forrester is safely in his hands for any checkups, oil changes and maintenance. I have Been coming to these guys for over 5 years now (through 3 or 4 different cars). Their work is excellent and fast (insisting on quality parts). Even the tougher and bigger jobs get done in a timely manner. They Rock.

Mike’s shop is the only place I’ll take my car too. They are honest, fair, extremely knowledgeable, and overall great people. I wanted to give a shout out to the guys @ Anywhere Automotive. I’m a single mom, 3 kids, 8pm and we were driving home from Tahoe when my car started to overheat. Needless to say, I started to panic. I Googled Automotive, their # came up, so I took the chance in calling. Mike answered. I explained my problem & he said “No problem”.
