This is bar none the best auto repair shop in Contra Costa County. Mike and his team really know cars…all cars. I have owned American made models European, Asian; the work done at Anywhere has always been the best, on time. Mike’s called the “car whisperer” and I know that to be true. Recently my car died while I was driving, and I had to have it towed to the repair shop. When it died on me, I did not know what shop to take it to, and I called several shops to interview them first before calling the tow truck. When I called Anywhere Automotive, the owner, Mike, answered the phone, and he really impressed me with his knowledge and customer service skills. I did not know what was wrong with my car at the time, and none of the other shops that I contacted would work on my car (it is a Suzuki SUV, and there are no dealers close by). Mike and his staff were very courteous and professional, and they really impressed me with their knowledge of cars. They gave me a good price for the work and kept to their estimates. In addition, they were patient about answering my questions, and they were very clear about telling me what needed to be done. The owner (Mike) is one of those rare car geniuses (“a mechanic’s mechanic”), and I felt very comfortable leaving my car with him. As a former auto mechanic myself, I tend to be more discerning than most people, and I ask a lot of questions when I have my car worked on, and Mike and his team exceeded my expectations. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. They are honest, hardworking, and very good at what they do. Your car will be in good hands with this shop.

Anywhere Automotive took the hassle away from having to leave my car at a shop for a weekend to get it worked on. Pricing was very fair, and the work was done quick. I have always been able to take my car in the same day or within 2 days after calling to make an appointment. The mechanic Carlos is well informed and doesn’t beat around the bush like most shops do. If something is fine, he doesn’t tell me that I have to change it just to make more money. He takes care of things in a timely manner. Lynn is amazing. She is super nice and makes me feel welcome to bring my car back anytime. She took care of everything I needed and even gave me a ride back to work while my car was being worked on. I recommend Anywhere Automotive to anyone at any time!

I drive 100 miles, round trip, to have them service my car and my husband’s car because they are are always courteous, honest, affordable, have reliablydiagnose my problem, and fixed it quickly.
