Mike at Anywhere Automotive is extremely knowledgeable about a wide range of automobile problems. He is very accurate, fair and accommodating. You would always know ahead of time what your car needs, how much it is going to cost and how long it will take to complete the job. His diagnostic skills and recommendations are superb. I have been a Customer of Anywhere Auto for over 20 years. I had been referred to them initially when I had a job transfer to the Bay Area.My Toyota 4-Runner’s engine had died, I was under warranty, yet The Dealership was not honoring the warranty, telling me that I would be responsible to pay excessive repairs & giving me the run around. As a single Woman in a Car Crisis, with very little resources, I felt very intimidated. A Friend suggested I contact Mike Babcock of Anywhere Auto. He not only advised me of how the Dealership was in the wrong but went to bat with them & the Warranty Company. He soon discovered that there had been repeat instances of the same issue with Toyota 4-Runner’s Engines due to a faulty design & that they had been recalled. He not only was able to replace the Engine but had the Warranty Company foot the bill with no out of pocket expense to me. Anywhere Auto is not only reliable & dependable, they are honest & trust worthy. Several years have passed, and though I am no longer in the Bay area, & have yet a different car, I still continue contact them for advice about my car. Mike’s shop is the only place I’ll take my car too. They are honest, fair, extremely knowledgeable, and overall great people. I took my car in for a new transmission, clutch, water pump, timing belt, and brakes and they gave me an amazing deal and got all of the work done extremely quickly!! Lynne is one of the sweetest people I’ve met and she is a pleasure to work with. Mike has been working on cars for years and I trust him and his work entirely. I found this place by accident and I don’t regret it. I was looking for an oil change and they didn’t in there they are really nice people and great service , mike I guess the owner do the job in my car plus he did a safety check up for free, it’s hard to find a good doctor for my car and I think I found it , highly recommended ! Mike is an exceptionally personable and friendly person and his shop is run in the same manner. He first serviced our 1996 Rav4 and we were extremely pleased with both the result and the prices. Carlos is the chief mechanic at A.A. and he pampered and cured my car many times, until it just was not practical at 250,000 miles!
